A Glimpse of the Photo

This year, 2022, has seemed to be the hardest thus far to raise funds.

I know gas prices are high, the cost of living Is through the roof, and grocery shopping for a family is mind blowing, yet our heart breaks for the people people of Zambia, Uganda, Pakistan, and Myanmar that are within our reach and need our help. We alone can barely help one of these places. But they continue to pray, and believe as they always have.

We see growth in these places. They’re not just waiting on us- they are doing! They spend from their pockets to share Jesus with whomever they can because they see what happens when people are released from the enemy’s bondage; when people wake up from the enemy’s deception.

A new school year is upon us. We are reaching out for the active orphanages in the remote areas who are beginning their school year. They need school supplies and provisions for lunches. We are also reaching out for the new churches in the remote villages that need bibles; whose leaders say bibles are worth more than gold because the Word of God helps them discover freedom and purpose and salvation. Right now, these things are our focus, though they’re only a portion of the needs.

This wakes me up at night. I wonder and pray for ideas. My latest idea is making artistic prints from the photos i took while in Zambia- as well as some local images. I will be sharing these photos in another blog post! Please look for it!

The Lord has gentle and assuring ways of letting you know you’re on the right track. When I was printing the photos at the print shop, there was a couple standing a few feet away who happened to get a glimpse of the photo of an elephant. Right there in the store, they purchased both that photo along with one of a giraffe!! I sincerely pray that their family is blessed because of the blessing that they were to me! This is the beginning of the blessing we can be through these photos by the means of more people like this couple! Praise God!
