Life-Giving Water

A line from the song Waterfall, by Charity Gayle, couldn’t hold more truth: “Everything lives where the River runs.” Where there is water, there is life. Imagine not having access to water. Imagine having to walk miles to carry enough back to sustain your whole family. Now, imagine doing this while you are battling cancer.
Part of a letter we recently received via messenger says, “ Thank you for the well. Am now using it. I don’t go or walk far to draw water and am happy and feeling well.”
This is only one person in one village representing hundreds whose life has been changed by a well that we, together, have dug in Zambia. The beautiful and life-giving thing is that these wells are dug in the Name of Jesus. HE is the well that won’t run dry. As she is being sustained and revived by a fresh source of water, the Living Water flows through her veins pouring out to everyone she comes in contact with. Yet again, Jesus is proven present and active.
Where the River runs, there is life! There is Hope! We are entirely grateful to everyone who has blessed this mission in ways that Christ continues to multiply for His Glory alone!
