What a Goat Can Do!

In 2018, while in Zambia, Scott and I was told that if a family has a goat, they can afford to send their child to school. Having raised children of our own, and knowing all that we would have done for their education and livelihood, we took this to heart and decided to help these families!
Now, our back yard is lined with holes and filled with wooden posts to attach fencing and create a pasture... for goats! The fencing will go back through the wooded area to give them plenty of roaming room! It is our hope that with the Goat Project, raising goats of our own will help us better draw awareness, generate compassion, and raise the funds needed to give a child an education and help a family be self sufficient!
We are excited to soon welcome home our very own Nubian Boers, Zambi and Chikoka! As well as Kavik, the Anatolian Shepherd that will help us keep watch over them! We are equally excited to share pictures and updates with you in future blogs! Stay tuned!
